  • Gordon B. Fowler Jr. - President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer
    Gordon Fowler Jr.

    Gordon B. Fowler Jr., is President and Chief Executive Officer of Glenmede and a Director of The Glenmede Trust Company, N.A. With more than $20 billion of assets under management, Glenmede remains independent  and exclusively focused on the business of investment and wealth management.

    Mr. Fowler also serves as Glenmede’sChief Investment Officer. In this role, he is responsible for investment strategy, fund management and research.

    Mr. Fowler joined Glenmede in 2003 following a more than twenty-year career with J.P. Morgan where he served in several management positions, including as Global Head of Investment Management of the Private Bank and as Head of Quantitative Equity Management for Institutional Asset Management.

    Over the course of his career, he has been responsible for the development of numerous equity and asset allocation strategies, and has authored and co-authored several pioneering articles on private client and institutional investing.

    Mr. Fowler received a B.A. from Brown University in 1981 and a M.S. from New York University Graduate School of Business in 1985. He serves as a board member for the Episcopal Church Pension Fund, Philadelphia Futures, the Curtis Institute of Music and the Widows Corporation. He has also been a member of the Investment Committee for the Princeton Theological Seminary.

  • Laura A. Williamson - Chief Operating Officer
    Laura Williamson

    Laura A. Williamson is Chief Operating Officer of Glenmede. She is a member of the Company's management committee and is responsible for financial management, human resources, and office administration. In this role, Ms. Williamson's chief responsibilities include strategic planning and forecasting, monitoring and reporting of financial results and trends, capital management, and oversight of compensation policy and administration. Prior to joining Glenmede in 1993, Ms. Williamson was a senior auditor with Ernst & Young, LLP.

    Ms. Williamson earned a B.S. in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from Bucknell University in 1989 and a M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 2002. She attained the certified public accountant designation in 1990 and remains actively licensed today.

    A resident of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Miss Williamson serves on the board of Philadelphia Futures, is an active committee member with The Pennsylvania Ballet, is an alumni advisor to the Management and Accounting faculty of Bucknell University, and has served with Business Volunteers for the Arts.

  • Howard E.N. Wilson - Executive Director of Relationship Management
    Howard Wilson

    Howard E.N. (Chip) Wilson is Executive Director of Relationship Management.  Across Glenmede’s six locations, Mr. Wilson leads the Firm’s Portfolio Management and Trust Administration professionals, and oversees business development opportunities.

    Mr. Wilson joined Glenmede in August of 2004, following an eighteen-year career with U.S. Trust. In his most recent position with U.S. Trust, he served as the Managing Director of the New York Wealth Management Group. In this role, Mr. Wilson supervised more than a hundred professionals whom, in this time, managed over $20 billion of assets. Prior, Mr. Wilson was President and Chief Executive Officer of the Mid-Atlantic Region, headquartered in Philadelphia. Before then, he had been President of the Florida Region.

    Mr. Wilson earned a B.A. in Business from the University of Maryland and an M.B.A. in Finance from Loyola University Maryland. He serves on the board of the Philadelphia Mural Arts Advocates and is active in leadership giving with the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania.
